In addition to this, there will be held a city gallery of children’s crafts in this Center. This gallery will be directed by Yelena Guzenko, a famous artist in Zhitomir, who has been conducting art therapy classes for children with mental disease and cancer for 11 years.
‘Ya-Mama’ NGO take cares of 140 families where children with special needs are. Such children are in great necessity of communicating with children of their age and their mothers especially need leisure time and time which they can devote to themselves- as they nurse their children 24 hours a day.
For this reason ‘Ya-Mama’ Children, Youth, Women Potential Development Center is a vital and socially important project in our city.
