From generation to generation for each individual mother is the most important person in life.
Mother’s Day – a celebration, to which no one can remain indifferent. On this day, I want to say thanks to all the mothers who give their children love, kindness, tenderness and affection.
In order to improve the social significance of motherhood, authority of mothers both in the family and in society the organization, “I am Mom!” together with Zhytomyr Centre of Children and Youth, and with the support of the Department of Culture each year in May organizes citywide celebration of Mother’s Day.
Traditionally the priest opens the solemn part of the event greeting and blessing mothers. The concert is presented by creative children’s group of Zhytomyr Center for Children and Youth. And the kids have entertaining programs and master classes.
