On the day of the patron saint of children veneration of Saint Nicholas, known for his mercy and charity representatives Zhytomyr charitable organizations gathered in the walls of the city council.

Today, volunteerism and philanthropy in Ukraine is rapidly gaining popularity. But sometimes in some charity events and campaigns more PR than real help. This reduces the credibility and creates prejudice to charity as such.
In order to prevent misuse of distribution of donations and promoting philanthropy in Zhytomyr representatives of charitable organizations developed a strategy on how to make the work of such organizations as transparent as possible for the community.
Round Table decided to establish the Association of charities Zhytomyr, which included plans to form a coordinating council, as a body inspection reports on the use of donations.
In addition, non-governmental organization “I am Mom!” presented a charity portal ZADOBRO.IN.UA, which collected and systematized information about those who have special needs (cancer, cerebral palsy, autistic, orphans, etc.)..
Operation Charity Portal approved representatives of all charitable organizations present at the discussion. So the form and fill resource decided jointly.
The meeting was attended by the following organizations: CO “Foundation for children with cancer” Together for Life “, for” Mission to Ukraine “” The universe for the Future, Youth NGO “Art Village” studio “Plastilin” Czech-Ukrainian company TCI ” Ukraine “, NGO” Center for psycho-social support and adaptation “Touch”, Regional Charitable Foundation “Keeper Polissya” GO “I am my mother!”.
Now the first step of the Association is gathering funds for cancer girl Didyk Nina, which is urgently waiting for treatment in an Italian hospital. The amount of 10 thousand euros can give your child a chance at life. Representatives of all charitable organizations are turning to partial to children’s pain people asked to help! Give kids hope!
